Mixed Paper

Mixed paper accounts for at least 40% of the residential curbside recycling stream, according to research from The Recycling Partnership, and is often an even higher percentage of the volume processed at some materials recovery facilities (MRFs).

It consists of a clean, sorted mixture of various qualities of paper containing less than 10% of groundwood content.
